Short of lopping off your opponent's hand, this effects-enhanced lightsaber offers all the light-dueling realism you could ever hope for. Motion sensors activate authentic sound effects—all of which are digital recordings taken from the movie. Power-up to the menacing "pffffssshewwww," and down to the "phssseeup." Movements get a "wwaow" or "vvrrrrumm" or "rrreee". Plus, saber clashes produce any of 4 different sounds (we'll stop trying to spell them out now) for a total of 10 sounds. Even the low vibrating sound of the saber idling comes straight from the films. This, Anakin's weapon, of course ignites with a glowing blue saber. A prop replica from "Revenge of the Sith," this reproduction is crafted to look and feel like the real weapon. The lightsaber's durable metal hilt is made of lightly chrome-plated aluminum and the polycarbonate blade is permanently attached to the hilt; however the saber is not a toy and not intended for hard use or striking others.
