Audio-Technica's omnidirectional AT899 Subminiature Omnidirectional Condenser Lavalier Microphone is engineered for intelligible, accurate voice reproduction. Its low-profile design (a mere 5 mm in diameter) assures minimum visibility. The condenser mic may be worn as a lavalier and is easily hidden in clothing or hair. It offers the convenience of battery or phantom power; its switchable low-frequency roll-off reduces popping. The AT899 measures only 5mm making it easily concealable for on-camera recording, theatrical and live sound applications. The omnidirectional pick-up pattern captures audio with even sensitivity around the perimeter of the microphone. The element boasts an even, flat frequency response of 20Hz to 20,000Hz with a dynamic range of 108dB (Phantom Power). Includes the AT8537 phantom power supply and XLR connector. The power supply will accept phantom power, or 1.5V AA battery power (included).
